Character Writing Meme! <3

Pick a character and I will give and explain the top five ideas/concepts/etc I keep in mind while writing that character that I believe are essential to accurately depicting them. Any and all characters welcome (including ones I haven't written but might know about...)
-Any series, any character. I'll give it my best go!

EDIT! I forgot to mention that since Cover Me is the only TF fic I'm writing at the moment, this is very Cover Me orientate! That being said: whew! This is actually harder than it appears. O.O! Who knew?

Meanwhile what's going on with me is I've been super ill the past 2 weeks. (I mean sicker than a dog ill!) So I apologize to everyone for pretty much everything!

Cover Me-Ironhide

1) Protective. It’s Ironhide, he’s very protective of not just Prime but of his whole squad! All of the First Five and the humans that helped with Mission City he considers under his care. As the (self proclaimed) eldest he feels that it’s his duty to keep the others as innocent as possible despite being in war, many of them are still innocent in some ways.

2) Traditional. He’s still very old fashion in many respects such as his love for the old architecture of Cybertron and their symmetry. He’s also traditional in his romances and is trying very hard to learn the Earth’s customs so he can “woo” will properly! Unfortunately he still can tell the difference between romance and porn sites.

3) Tranquil. Since Megatron’s defeat *coughnotreallycough* he’s a lot more easy going. Another thing his age grants him is the ability to do whatever he wants without censure so he’s a lot calmer about many things. As long as it doesn’t affect him directly he could care less. He’s finally able to live his life and he’s not about to let anyone stop him.

4) Unafraid. After so many eons and so many battles, there are not many things that frighten him anymore. He may be cautious in respects, you can’t survive to be his age without being so, but he will never turn down or away from a fight. He’ll stand up to Optimus Ratchet if the situation calls for it. He is not afraid of voicing his opinion.

5) Stubborn! Once he sets himself on a certain path, it is very difficult to pull him off of it or turn him around down a different road. His age may give him wisdom but he’s also very set in his ways, and he won’t listen to anyone either! At least not another Cybertron, the humans make him think since they have such a different way of approaching things.
