Basically it's a complete re-write of the whole first movie (so Tsu'tey lives and it's more slashy XD) This is one scene that Kallipso and I came up with at Lunch and I just HAD to write it down! XD Completely rushed and not eidited and just for fun! this would be around... chapter 20 or 30ish. (yeah, I know. *headdesk*)
On another Random Note! Dragons! Yeah, I'm still addicted! I've decided to try for 15 of every adult seeing as that's how many frill I have. After that it would be 30 each (baring the limited editions and holiday dragons) I'm at 290~ ! 10 more for 300~ and then 200 to go for a gold trophy! YAY~!
~*~ Plot bunny scene ~*~
Jake sighed as he picked his way through the throng of Na’vi who were seated around the multiple fires to the master fire where Neytiri was waiting for him along with her parents, sister Sylwanin and unsurprisingly-Tsu’tey. Sighing, Jake apologized the best he could with his poor Na’vi vocabulary to a female whose tail he had stepped on before heading towards the master fire where Mo’at was watching his approach with narrowed eyes. “Er… evening,” Jake waved vaguely as he took his now designated place between Neytiri and Tsu’tey. Tsu’tey instantly shoved a bowl of something at him and Jake was honestly too tired to complain at his presumption.
Neytiri had worked Jake hard on tree jumping today and it was like every fiber of his carbon-fire bones was on fire. With a sigh Jake brought up his dish, not really caring what it was actually in it by this point when he was suddenly confronted with something resting on the edge of his bowl. He frowned at the white floating fluff, as he called it and tried to blow the thing away before anyone noticed that yet another of Eywa’s tree seeds had shown up to hover around him.
Luck it seemed was not with him as Mo’at gasped and Eytukan and Neytiri’s heads came up sharply before focusing on the Atokirina that was now hovering over Jake’s soup. Jake gave Mo’at a rather flat look. “They’re back…” he announced flatly.
“So I see,” Mo’at tried to keep a smile off her face but it was clear she wasn’t even trying. Eutukan for his part just went back to his soup and tried to ignore the now four floating pieces of white fluff hovering around Jakes head.
Neytiri couldn’t keep her small laughter under control and Tsu’tey was now glaring at his warriors along with the regular citizens who were now more interested in the Atokirina’s around Jake than their own dinner. Jake just tried to ignore the now eight flying fluffs around him and tried to drink his dinner. How he wished for some whisky or something with a bit more kick than this broth like food. Sighing, he tried to blow one of the seeds out from his eyes as he lifted his bowl.
“Jakesully!” Mo’at gasped but it was lost among Jake’s own gasping along with the wheezing and coughing as he inadvertently sucked in a Atokirina that had just floated down to sit on the edge of his bowl without his notice. Tsu’tey was instantly pounding him on the back as Jake tried to hack the seed back up, much to the horror of the Na’vi at the camp fires around them and Mo’at was darting over her mate and leaping across the fire, hissing at Tsu’tey as she snagged Jake’s chin and popped his jaw open. Her slender fingers reached in and very delicately extracted the seed from where it was trying greatly to dislodge itself from the back Jake’s throat.
It was a very soggy, very raggedy looking Atokirina dangling from Mo’at’s fingertips as she rescued it from becoming part of Jake’s dinner. Jake glared at the innocent looking thing before he tried to bat away the other floating white seeds of the Tree of Souls around him only to succeeded in having Neytiri bat his hands away from harming their sacred messengers. Sighing Jake looked down at the remains of his dinner, now seeping into Pandora’s ground having dropped it at Tsu’tey’s first whack on the back. Looking up Jake was surprised to catch Eytukan’s eye.
Eytukan gave him a long suffering look before he looked back down at his own feet and Jake realized that during Mo’at’s frantic rush to save him, or more likely the Atokirina, she had made Eytukan drop his own dinner. Jake gave him a sheepish look when the leader of the Omaticaya looked back his way before standing up and gesturing for Jake to follow. Unfortunately the blasted floating fluffs followed, casting the two in their soft glow as Jake tried to figure out a way to apologize for their presences.
“I will say this,” a Na’vi elder minding the cooking fire said to Eytukan in rapid Na’vi as they approached the main cooking fire to re-fill their bowls. “things have gotten more lively in Kelutral.”
Etukan huffed as he filled his bowl and whirled back around to head back to his own family’s fire. “Ayeveng,” he replied and Jake couldn’t help but roll his eyes as the Na’vi laughed even louder. Children indeed.
~*~ End Scene ~*~
So basically, remember Jake covered in all those seeds of Eywa when Neytiri was telling him to go back to his own people, this idea is that they don't just stop there but continually are following him everywhere! (and being quite the nuisance) Feel free to steal~! <3
Oh yeah! Neytiri has an older sister! Who knew? Go Avatar wiki!
Aand I found an English-Na'vi/Na'vi-English translator! How awesome is that?
